Ghosts of West Virginia in Production…
The production phase of Ghosts of West Virginia had officially begun. The book has gone to the pre-production dept., where they will determine the layout of the book and the placement of the photographs. There are 15 photographs in the book, and when it is released there will be a full gallery available on Geoffrey Foster.com that will serve as a supplement to the book, since the number of pictures I can include within its pages are limited. The full gallery will include over 100 photos.

I am now on Twitter
Mostly, to reach a greater number of people. At this point, I have simply introduced myself as a writer and added a link to my Official Website – Geoffrey Foster.com. If you are on twitter, or would like to be, click on the link below

From the mythological ancient world to our modern world of science and logic, time has been our constant companion. The poems in Clockwork take us on a journey through time, spanning the entirety of human history—from the birth of man to an imagined future when the clock finally winds down.

My Own Moment of Zen

I honestly can’t say if anyone in Japan will actually buy this book, but seeing this webpage was my personal Moment of Zen (think The Daily Show).
Clockwork Now Available…
Clockwork is now available for purchase from the Publisher’s website, PublishAmerica, LLLP. Just click here to purchase a copy. Over the next few weeks, Clockwork will become available at Barnes & Noble.com, Borders.com and similar places. The cost of the book is $14.95. In a few weeks, I will have several signed copies of the book which I will be selling from GeoffreyFoster.com. I will set up a web store on that site so anyone interested can make a purchase online. Thank you and enjoy the book.

An Eventful Week
To begin with, Clockwork went to the Print Dept. this week. It is even displayed on their website. Although the book has not officially been released yet, I believe it can be ordered from PublishAmerica.com. Don’t be mad at me if I am mistaken about this. The price of the book is $14.95.
Secondly, I quit smoking this week,*which has caused me to spend more time on the computer so I have something to do with my hands instead of holding a cigarette. At the rate I’m going, I will have written the equivalent of War & Peace by Sunday.
Other than that, my second book, Ghost of West Virginia, is being edited. However, I can’t send it in to the publisher until Clockwork has been in print for six months. So, it will not be released until the end of the year, or thereabouts. Now, I am roughly 200 pages into the second draft of The Deal. The beginning is on GeoffreyFoster.com, and a later excerpt which is directly related to the opening pages can be found on this site. If you would like to read the beginning of The Deal, click here. Then read the continuation on this site. Just check the sidebar under PAGES. Well, that about covers it for now…
*By week, I mean the last seven days.
